Professional Experience

Mark A. Williamson is Co-Chair of the firm’s Nanotechnology Practice Group. 

Since joining Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto in 1989, Mr. Williamson has gained extensive experience in both patent procurement and client counseling in the electrical and mechanical arts. He has worked in various technologies including ink jet and laser printing, photocopying, fluid distribution systems, medical devices and spacecraft launching vehicles. Mr. Williamson has substantial experience in both domestic and international patent applications and has been involved in various reexaminations, reissues and interferences. 

Prior to joining Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, Mr. Williamson worked for several years as an Examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Awards and Recognition

Mr. Williamson is recognized as an IP Star in the 2013 edition of Managing Intellectual Property.
