Lawrence Stahl has extensive experience in client counseling and opinion work, as well as in all aspects of patent prosecution and litigation, and he has served as lead trial counsel in complex patent and copyright litigations. He has worked with a broad range of technologies including various aspects of computer hardware and software, telecommunications, avionics, aviation oil coolers, nitrogen generating systems, automotive transmissions, autofocus cameras, circuit board manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, synthetic fibers, fire fighter simulators, medical equipment and electrostatic image forming devices and processes.
Lawrence served as the firm's Administrative Partner in the DC Office from 1996 thru 2003 and as the firm's Managing Partner in the DC office from 2003 thru January of 2010. Mr. Stahl is the articles editor for the firm's PTO Update.
Following law school, he served a one-year term as law clerk to the Honorable Joseph V. Colaianni of the United States Claims Court.
