John Murnane was the moderator for the Intellectual Property Panel at the CPR Annual Meeting in New Orleans on February 16-18. This panel addressed Patent ADR around the world, focusing on IPR proceedings in the USPTO, how recent Supreme Court cases have influenced litigation, implications for dispute resolution, together with a consideration of comparable proceedings in other countries, the role of antitrust in patent enforcement, restrictions on patent eligibility in the U.S. and globally, and current prospects for ADR aboard.  Austin Ginnings co-authored the paper that Mr. Murnane submitted to the conference.
