Partner Edward Vassallo presented at the Fordham Law School’s Seventeenth Annual Conference on Intellectual Property Law & Policy in Cambridge on April 15th. His paper, entitled “The “New” Standard For Determining Design Patent Infringement Announced in Egyptian Goddess, Inc. v. Swisa, Inc. – A Return to Supreme Court Precedent?,” discusses the the old and new standards for determining design patent infringement and the future implications and questions raised by Egyptian Goddess, Inc. v. Swisa, Inc., 543 F.3d 665 (Fed. Cir. 2008). Jessica Hiney co-authored the paper.
