Over the past three decades, no field of science or engineering has had a greater impact on the way we live than electronics and computers. Since the inception of our firm, many of the leaders in these fields have chosen Fitzpatrick as their intellectual property counsel.

And with good reason. Our lawyers have provided first class representation to our clients in courts, in arbitrations and before the PTO, as well as in licensing and transactions. We also have extensive experience in client counseling in this area, advising on matters such as intellectual property portfolio development, enforcement strategies, risk assessment and the like, and are routinely called upon to provide such services.

Our experience here is as diverse as the field itself: we've handled matters involving ink jet printers, relational database management systems, video games, computer network routing, medical imaging, wireless and land-line telephony, semiconductors, global positioning systems and interactive CD-ROMS, just to name a few. Our lawyers who practice in this area hold bachelors and advanced degrees in electrical engineering or computer science, and typically have several years of industry experience as well. Given the breadth and depth of our expertise, there is simply no matter that is too complicated for us to handle.
