Taking the Sweat Out of Combating Trade Secret Theft

Trade secret theft against U.S. corporations is a major concern, and combatting such theft can be especially difficult when it occurs abroad. In the face of escalating global industrial espionage, companies need an arena to remedy such trade secret theft in a quick and meaningful manner – enter the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC). In the July/August 2014 issue of Intellectual Property Magazine, Stephen Belisle and Robert Pickens review several recent ITC investigations involving trade secret theft, and provide a few pointers on how to combat trade secret theft using the ITC.
