“IPR: Interplay Between Joinder and Time Limits”: A review of a somewhat surprising recent decision from PTAB, which deviates from a position that many practitioners thought was well-established: that a Petition for IPR could be successfully initiated, even though filed after the one-year deadline for doing so, so long as the Petition was accompanied by a request for Joinder with an already-instituted proceeding.
