NEW YORK, April 30, 2014 – Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto, is pleased to announce that Nina Shreve, a partner in its New York office, and Lori Wolfe, a former associate in its New York office, were named recipients of the 2014 Burton Award for Legal Achievement. Ms. Shreve and Ms. Wolfe received this award for their article entitled, “All three branches of the US government weigh in on patent trolls.” This year’s award marks the eighth time that Fitzpatrick has been recognized.
Nina Shreve has extensive experience in all aspects of trademark law, including litigation, prosecution, client counseling, opinion work, due diligence investigations and other transactional matters. Ms. Shreve is also active in the firm’s patent litigation practice focusing particularly on litigation in the pharmaceutical area. In addition to the pharmaceuticals product area, Ms. Shreve has represented clients in patent and trademark matters in diverse industries, including computers and electronics, consumer healthcare products, industrial machinery and building products. Ms. Shreve is also a member of the firm’s Diversity Committee.
